Defeat is just a passing phase,
For life is always in motion.
One need not lament the lost,
But one has to stumble upon,
To gain more confidence.
And to defeat the defeat,
By moving ahead vibrantly,
Having learned from past,
Anticipating a fame future,
And living the present,
With utmost regret to abdicate,
From what we are destined to do,
Is the priceless lesson, life teaches.

Well said, defeat often makes us uncomfortable, hope every one makes use of the chances that one gains out of defeat to learn instead of losing themselves in defeat. The other day I was watching "Les Miserables" musical and the character Jean Valjean's efforts all through made me think of writing this when I checked your writeup, for this reason I had to delete my earlier comments sorry for that.
