Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans
A movie that bears vividly the 'animal' sentiments; and how we, the
humans, have lost the connection with our fellow creatures, where
revenge and survival of the fittest is our prime motto. The movie reeks
of the man's thirst to seek revenge but eventually the turn of events
gives man the truth of life. The climax is not much of a twist, one can
easily predict the next happenings. The movie makes extensive use of the
VFX technique, you might first consider that the main
tiger is unreal and is simply a work of graphics, but its not so -
there are slight manipulations though! The movie would have been lot
better if it wasn't for the use of the typical 'Bollywood' traits.
However, the movie is interesting for the very small story it has to
tell and the efforts put in the graphics and other camera techniques are
alright, but nothing to brag about intensely. I personally would like
to give this movie a rating of 3.15 on a scale of 5.0.
Movie though talks about the relationships between human and the forest, what made me enjoy the movie is the effects, as usual your review is good. Some how I'm missing the updates as I am not sure of alerts in my mail.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sir. I was beginning to wonder whether I'd lost my faithful reader for I was preoccupied with my work. Your message proved me wrong. Shall write to you as soon as possible.
DeleteAs I mentioned, I am not getting my updates as I lost my mobile and the new one which I am using to check my mails etc., I am still not used to and I feel I messed up the mail configuration sorry for that, and lots of things happening this month and busy attending and no time left to do anything else. As I am trying to get used to my new mobile hopefully I will start working regularly updating as well.
