The electronic eye has in its sight,
The open and secret of your might.
A click is enough to get you close,
To one far who awaits with a rose.
But, my dear friend, behold the truth,
For the prime years are in the youth.
Take to a thing special, perhaps a book,
Millions words beg to take your look.
The dried rose in its pages hold power,
A fragrance that has love in shower.
The finger that turned the pages in delight,
Bears the kiss which you shared in twilight.
What do you know of magic certain in it?
Toppled down are the temples by its hit.
Underrate not of the value of its pages,
Pierian Spring too has its magic unto sages.
Worthy are those who hold it firm in eye,
Often blessed with learning that's high.
Inspiring words to take up reading THE BOOK
