what have we to lose?

Anomalies are many in the system
Beguiled minds try to rectify them
Ceasing every turn of opportunity
Deceiving the thousand eyes that see
Elusive has become the truths
Foreseen by us is the doomsday
Grief stricken are our hearts
Hatred has encompassed our brains
Intricately woven our emotions
Justly living the one life we have
Kinsmen have suffered enough
Lamenting over the dead ones
Maniacs and lunatics running over
Nexus of curses spewing every minute
Oblivious we remain to our own fall
Plato, Aristotle and the rest, in sleep
Quiet in their graves of peace
Rustling sounds cross the graveyards
Stones are awoken by the chaos
Territories tremble to this sight
Unleashing the horrors of our greed
Vanquishing the maniacal appetites
Wild fire rages before our eyes
Xanadu is blighted aflame
Younger ones also reap what is sowed
Zombie hearts walk the earth again.

    1. Well, I was trying to put some order into the rather order-less world.

  2. If not recognised yet, may I , with a pinch of pride, point out that the poem is alphabetically organised, pure chaos..yet.. order in chaos.. wonder what's going to flow next from your pen panda..

    1. Thank you for noticing the subtleties Dexter, and I am as clueless as you when it comes to my next scribbling work.
