i lived

It was too late, the doctors gave up on her life. She wanted to whisper her last words, but there was no ear to hear her out. Letting out a sigh, in her weak voice, she spoke, "At least I lived!"

  1. I've been reading "Looking For Alaska" lately, by John Green. Too much talk about the "last words", and of all the 'last words' of great people mentioned in the book, I find this far better and more meaningful. :-)
