Text-Poetry Marathon

Parrot
The fire rages and roars link no other
Unwilling to stay unborn, latent, unperturbed
Pandabear
Haha, laughs loud the fiend,
For he is heading to his end.
Parrot
The fiend and the fiendfire
The perpetrator and the sufferer
Pandabear
What art thou think that best maketh,
For in the game of love, many hearts breaketh.
Parrot
Thou art not a figment of imagination
My finest hour began but endeth with thee
Pandabear
In the happiest times that were wrought,
From the fairest Venice were the colours caught.
Parrot
Rejoicing on the outside my insides did burn,
Tut Tut! He chided me along the turn
Pandabear
Thoughts flooded in mind loft-like,
As the feet tickled in bed soft-like.
Parrot
These are but threads seamless,
Come, let us creep into this realm endless.
Pandabear
Exclaimed he to take her hands in huge halls,
While she smiled and made love against lovely walls.
Parrot
More than passion gleaned and sighed upon,
Is the beam of the hope lovelorn
Pandabear
Suffering destroys, and self is destroyed,
Born again from the ashes with hope rebuoyed.
Parrot
From dust it shall rise and bound
It may lose its faith in the ground
Pandabear
Lose faith and disbelieve if you must,
But the flight rests its wings in good trust.
Parrot
My treasure and my heart at the same place,
I would rest until the day's last trace.
Pandabear
Abandon all the haughty,
Begin to love the naughty.
Parrot
Naughty is naught but a little smug
He beseeches me for my own drug
Pandabear
Like a spirit on my mind with ease he pranced,
Seductive was the whole talk as if I was tranced.
Parrot
He called me enchantress but nay
Searching for his scent in darkness I lay
Pandabear
The zephyr was gently cold,
We curled around and rolled.
Parrot
Smokeless was his gaze, liquid and limpid
Sucked into a daze, I saw colours myraid.
Pandabear
Amused and happy was the Muse even,
For the songs were deep when given.
Parrot
Every song had the trickster's touch
But he turned sombre, forever too much
Pandabear
Eyes had to be deceived with tricks,
For you would never have known the pain of pricks.
Parrot
I line my eyes with more black
They shall never know what they lack
Pandabear
Smokey eyes did never reveal the crime,
They were not masked but mastered all the time.
Parrot
I could drink a little hemlock
Get lost in my trickster's scent
Pandabear
Why must I live on
In this love forlorn?
Parrot
Thy love enriched the parched
Bestow thy beauty, O bounteous!
Pandabear
Aphrodite smiles over us,
As we look for reflections.
Parrot
Ensnared by his coiled charms
I held on to the last, insane thread
Pandabear
Lean fingers strikes the harp,
Playing the music of the heart.
Parrot
Flows and pulsates, this rhythm
Miles across where I come from
Pandabear
Miles away yet thy sweet fragrance stayed,
Our togetherness for eternity was what I prayed.
Parrot
The wait was long, the sun was setting,
Melting the colours the dusk did the painting
Pandabear
Painting spoke a million thoughts,
For too long were those kept in naughts.
Parrot
Churl the hues for me when I come,
Claim the darkness distraught with the lonesome
Pandabear
Let's make love in the realm of darkness,
And hope to see the rays of sweetness.
Parrot
The sweetness smiles with your guile
I touch it, the fleeting promise of the nile
Pandabear
By the shore, we stole kisses,
And jumped over pebbles and hisses.
Parrot
May this flowing water never end
Break the barriers, let the world condescend!
Pandabear
What business have we with this world?
Our universe is far far away pearled.
Parrot
It could all but come crashing down,
In a universe parallel we'd erase the brown
Pandabear
Mortal lives can be crushed to dust,
Immortal consummation shall forever be must.

Text-Poesy ~~~ Parrot & Pandabear

Parrot
Alone, he drinks the embers of the sun
The day crashes around
Pandabear
As the illumined mind dawns,
It still waits in line for fawns.
Parrot
The mind twirled his mustache
Laughed and did a little dance
Pandabear
Praise the soldier's brave,
As he reaches glory's grave.
Parrot
Won't you show the Ungrateful
That you skip around not baleful
Pandabear
The deceiving beauty as it blooms,
Has haunted many to their tombs.
Parrot
But I will lurk in thy labryinth
Hanging on, never too forlorn
 Pandabear
His warm breath gushed close to my ears,
And in that moment I felt I'd lived for many years.
Parrot
My bosom heaves in anticipation
My perfume likes no peer
Pandabear
In a long kiss, a little saliva swallowed,
This consummation was highly hallowed.
Parrot
Oh don't say we're in Neverland
Haven't we lived a thousand lives yet?
Pandabear
Thousand lives yet to live you say,
I could spend an entire life with you in a day.
Parrot
Graze my walls, wield thy bow
Archer! I can perch with hope.
Pandabear
Burning cigarette ashes as I drew,
Decades later a young bud grew.
Parrot
Green is the colour of my melancholy
The shadow plays and so does your memory
Pandabear
When these maddening hearts connect, they do for all seasons,
But many love stories have remained unhappy, for no reasons.
Parrot
It was the Creeper's choice to stay
He had all but to ask my branch's way!
Pandabear
Covered in leaves, mud and clay,
Under the moonlight, naked we lay.
Parrot
Sated you were in the caves of bliss
Whispers from my core touched your slumber
Pandabear
No cozy beds or silken pillows and sheets,
Just you and me in each other's beats.

Text-Poesy ~~~ Yogibear & Pandabear

The following is a series of two-line text-poetry, these were impromptu and were exchanged as mere SMS's.

Yogibear
The sinews of steel strain
In search of the elusive grain
Pandabear
My dry pair of socks,
Has walked many wet roads.
Yogibear
In search of the waltzing portion
Enmeshed in a diurnal motion
Pandabear
She walked away with pride and guts,
Leaving unstubbed cigarette butts.
Yogibear
More like an arrogant walk
And certainly beyond all talk
Pandabear
Coffee stains splattered the table,
Blood stains shattered the able.
Yogibear
The cascading warm spears
All buried in the melee of tears
Pandabear
Wrinkled hands rub against the stamp fringes,
Old love reignited with past hinges.
Yogibear
The celestial beast tweeted
Since he felt he was cheated
Pandabear
Let poesy encompass the whole,
The rustic and the mechanical soul.
Yogibear
Let poetry harp
On a colourful carp
Pandabear
Of art and music of great mind,
Who could say the past lived in such kind!
Yogibear
And as the final call
Say ripeness is all
Pandabear
Behold, the various scribbling crew,
For unwise minds write long review.
Yogibear
The muse then said to the hind
It's all there in your feverish mind
Pandabear
Your themes call for praise and applause now,
And the Muses walk before you taking a bow.
Yogibear
With the works cited list done
The article waits for none
Pandabear
Men and women, thus are screaming,
And here are the hearts entangling.
Yogibear
The scream, the cream and the ream
Wait at the door to catch a moonbeam
Pandabear
For once the vessel was filled, Jesus,
And pot with a hole truly squeezed us.
Yogibear
Jesus, tell me you took the exam
And got more than eggs and jam
Pandabear
Whispering tongues poisoned the truth,
Parted were those friends in youth.
Yogibear
The hour that's come at last
Asks all dice to seek repast
Pandabear
Hearts are torn away,
As love seeks to decay.
Yogibear
Said Pope, 'When I lisp in numbers
Even the crawling ants become tumblers'
Pandabear
Just yet, and now away from deceiving,
But a sudden wrench is enough to stop believing.
Yogibear
The fire that burns in the distant deeps
Sparkles and sears even as it sleeps
Pandabear
When his lips to mine are pressed,
Cupid looks over that this love is blessed.
Yogibear
What is needed of the cupid
Isn't tears but bombs stupid
Pandabear
Fare thee well, my dear king,
Martyrs are remembered when children sing.
Yogibear
We know that Children sing
Without knowing a thing
Pandabear
Mute harps hug the sad tree,
Hands are locked but tears free.
Yogibear
You can take what poem you want
The poets won't die if you can't
Pandabear
Life is thorny and spent at times in vain,
Like miserable heart and maddening brain.
Yogibear
If gems are handed on a splatter
They forget to sparkle and glitter
Pandabear
Love's death brings in deeper sorrow,
But I live to see the sun every morrow.
Yogibear
The tiger's tail tells the tail
That tricks the thimbles to thunder
Pandabear
Mounting within is the cold despair,
As gloomy thoughts collide in the air.
Yogibear
When curtains fall
It's time for all
Pandabear
Thus to my memory of recall,
I've remained dearest to all.
