Apostrophe: Death

Years have passed by,
Only to get me closer to you.
Uniting with you wholly,
Remains the ultimate notion.
As asking for one’s love,
Within is the drive of romance.
Yet I stand before you,
Asking for a little more time.
For this life has a little more to offer,
And this life is blessed to create artful lines.

  1. After reading your blog I am reminded of the book "The Time Keeper" by Mitch Albom. As of time, we always have time for those whom we feel comfortable, to my understanding. Verse is really good,I feel verse id the communication that comes out through heart. Is that a painting or photo? Have a nice day

  2. Thank you for writing in your comment again Sir! And also for the book suggestion. The picture is an abstract representation of the term 'death' and since it also has feather-like (quill) structure in between, I took it to represent writing as well.
