Interstellar - A Journey to the Frontiers of Imagination

Keeping the contemporary reality in mind – the depleting resources and also reducing chances of life-instinct on this planet Earth, "Interstellar" comes as one of those breakthroughs where we get a step closer in trying to understand the oblivion. The plot is impracticable, where a team of explorers travel beyond this galaxy to discover whether the stars have any possibility in them to sustain life. But the significance on words such as ‘family’, ‘love’, ‘time’, ‘death’ and ‘hope’ becomes vital. I appreciated the ‘mobile concurrency’ technique used, for it substantiates the theories in physics – the aspect of time and space relativity. The impulsive decisions that the explorers take at critical times actually shows the spontaneity of mankind. The lines from Dylan Thomas’ “Do not go gentle into that good night” were appealing and was thoroughly befitting in the context. The quest continues and the ending edges off on an ambiguous turn. I would give this movie a score of 4.0 on a scale of 5.0.

  2. Woooooooooooooooow, amazing movie. Sitting for more than 2 hours in movie is really hard for me unless and until the movie is really good. Right from the beginning the movie really made me into the movie. For quite long I was not thinking in terms of the science, philosophy and the way we deal with certain issues. Movie really made in to thinking as well. How we humans at times think so selfishly and what if out there people who think beyond "I, me and myself" are not there what would have happened to the world. Your review best suits to the movie.
